Advantages: Reliable (most of the time), good quality, can see what you have hoovered!

Disadvantages: Heavy to use, if it breaks down it can geet expensive!

Having bought this some years ago when it was first released I was extremely excited about getting a Dyson. They were always seen as the better model. It has always done me well over the years, without fault or problem. Until recently everything was going fine, and then one day it decided to pack in completely and when I switched it off it made a really loud grinding noise! It was very annoying and so I rang the helpline to see what could be done. She informed me that a repair man could come out and have a look at it but would cost a flat rate fee of £65! I wasn't best happy - that is alot of money and if needed i could just put that to a new hoover. The end result would be spend £65 and still have a repaired dyson hoover. So overall, this product was very good for a long time, but if it breaks beware!

Summary: Overall it is a good hoover, but have rated 3 stars and not higher because it broke on me
