I bought this VAX 18 months ago as a small vacuum cleaner for my 2 bed flat. I needed something that was powerful, because I have long hair with a tendency to moult, so I thought the 'pet hair' technology might be useful. I also needed a cleaner that could be stored in my small cupboard and wasn't too heavy. So this VAX fits the bill brilliantly.

It's a bagless, canister cleaner (the canister is the clear bit at the front on the picture). It holds a surprising amount of dirt, only being half full after I have vacuumed the 6 rooms in my flat. Emptying the canister is also very easy because all the removable parts just clip in and out, so there isn't any twisting or matching up bits and pieces to figure out.

Included with the vacuum cleaner are various tools and attachments, all that you would expect to come with a vacuum cleaner (upholstery, thin nozzle etc.) but you do also get a super tool for concentrating the air flow and picking up ground in dirt and pet hair, which I have found very useful.

Everything is easy to use and inter-change, dirt pick up is good, the whole thing is light to move around and it's small to store. All in all a good vacuum cleaner for small spaces.
