A really useful little vacuum with good performance and good value for money.

I recently bought one of these little hoovers for my flat as I was tired of sharing an old communal one which somehow seemed to create more dust than it managed to remove ... This was the perfect solution.

The compact size was the main thing that attracted me as I don't have that many rooms to vacuum and I also don't have much space to store it when not in use. I have found that it has a good capacity and being small, it hardly takes up any space in my cupboard which is great.

Before I bought it I was a little concerned whether the suction would be much good considering the size. 1800 watts didn't really mean too much to me at the time other than being more powerful than my microwave! Thankfully I now know that it means the suction is good and it seems to cope just as well on laminate floors as it does on carpet and a big fuzzy rug that I have.

Unlike the big upright vacuums it is light enough to pick up and carry between rooms if need be and I find it easy to manoeuvre when vacuuming. It also allows you to get much closer to skirting boards and furniture without leaving you with the feeling that there is a dusty perimeter around the edge of everything that you haven't quite managed to deal with...

Obviously it doesn't have a bag which just makes things so much easier. Gone are the days of fiddling around with bags full of dust! It's very easy to empty. All you have to do is unclip the container from the unit, hold over a bin and open the door to let the dust out. Clipping it back in is just as straight forward.

It's also a good price compared to some of the other "pod" vacuums available- Dyson for example offer their own version which seems very pricey indeed.

The only alight downside to mine is that the power cable seems to try and retract into the machine even when I haven't pressed the button which is a bit annoying however it didn't do this when brand new so it's just an issue with my particular machine.
