***What is it***
The Vax g2 is meant to be a small high powered cylinder vacuum cleaner ideal for those with pets

***Suitable for***
This is difficult,........a present for somebody you truly hate and want to suffer...horrifically

***Using it***
I shopped around for the best price before buying this off ebay for around £69.99, it comes well packaged in a not so heavy box and comes with a multitude of tools. Straight away i tested it out on the living room carpet and it was great picked up all the pet hair without the special 'turbo tool', over the next couple of uses the suction reduced greatly so i figured that the cylinder needed emptied, easy to do with a small catch on the bottom. I then tried again with only a very slight improvement so i then i opened the filter compartment which to my surprised was completely clogged with dirt after only a few days use. It is not easy to clean as the website describes with a 'gentle tapping' more like a vigorous stabbing with a knife (no seriously i had to get an old dinner knife to scrape out the dust) this took around 20 minutes to make it suitable for use. Then the suction improved again though not to the standard of its first use, so i tried using the turbo head to pick up the dog hair and it picked up....NOTHING the suction wasn't even powerful enough to make the internal brush move.
I have had to use it now for a year as i cannot afford a new one yet and as i like my carpets suitably clean i have to hoover my WHOLE house with the nozzle end minus the telescopic pole and head as this is the only way it will pick up any dirt, and just to get it to this stage i have to open the dirt compartment every couple of days and dig out the dirt from the filter every few days.
If it wasn't from ebay i would have returned it straight away

Normally i would give you all the specs it 'claims' to have but as i find 90% of them untruthful i will not inflict them upon you and after my review do you really want to know anyway

PLEASE do not buy this unless being used as an instrument of torture
