With having a child, a dog and 2 guinea pigs in the house, I find I have to vacuum the house every day. I own a rather big, bulky Dyson and sometimes I can't be bothered to get the big vacuum out to hoover up a small mess, especially if I have already hoovered for the day so I got myself a decent hand held vacuum to use when the need arose. I went for the Vax V031 hand held vacuum purely because I thought it was a decent price for a good branded vacuum. I paid just under £30.00 from Amazon for it. Obviously you can get cheaper ones than this but I had an Amazon voucher to use so it didn't cost me anything. The vacuum is white and blue and a decent ... Read the complete review

The VAX V-031 Librett is a small hand held but powerful vacuum cleaner that is excellent for giving your car a clean but is also very useful to have around the house. My larger vacuum has a long lead and is very cumbersome, especially to get up the stars with bits always falling off, but this hand held model is worth its weight in gold as you can use it quickly and easily to give those pesky corners and dusty areas. I am quite obsessive about cleaning sometimes and hate it if I see a dusty corner or rug somewhere. This is therefore a great device for me. You charge the device up (just remember to do this when you need to use it later) and then it lasts for a ... Read the complete review

I hate vacuuming, it is one of the most tedious household chores there is. I have a good vacuum cleaner that does the job but there are so many different attachments and parts that I find it really daunting so I use my hand held Vax for doing jobs like the stairs and under the cupboards. I originally bought my Vax for using on the car but found that I use it far more often than I originally thought I would and now wouldn't be without it. It is a small handheld vacuum cleaner that you charge before use so that you are able to take it outside to the car without worrying about wires and plugs. I only paid £25 for it which I think is a great price for ... Read the complete review

Having small children around the house means you are going to need to clean up a lot. Dinner times means that food is dropped on the floor and rather than get out a full sized vacuum cleaner and struggle to get in amongst the chair legs I thought a hand-held vacuum cleaner seemed like a better option. My Vax Libretto came from Lidl for £20 and I would have to say it has been brilliant from day one. Product Description -------------------------- The main part of the vacuum is white plastic whilst the detachable front section is clear blue - this allows you to see how much dust you have collected. You have two buttons on the top: one that slides ... Read the complete review
