I may be unlucky but this is my second Vax and the second disapointment.

If it worked like it should have done I would have been really happy, however it has been nothing but a hassle and is resigned to sitting in the back of a cupboard.

It is relatively easy to fill up and empty. It makes all the right noises and looks the part; unfortunately that is where the positives end!

The problem I have is it does not suck very well; so instead of leaving nearly dry clean carpets; it leaves damp dirty carpets.

I don't know if it is because it is a relatively cheap product or I am just doing it wrong. In the end I resorted to hireing a 'professional' carpet cleaner from the local DIY store. This will probably work out as a cheaper option rather than having to by another VAX, afterall I don't clean my carpets that often!
