... killed it, so bought at morphy richards. I had this two weeks, before it died-and I only asked it to hoover dust not paper! I put the filter in the washing machine, and it got out all the dust that didnt come out from tapping, and after that the suction was perfect again! So I lent it to my mum when her morphy richards died (just before mine packed up) and she has never had a better hoover, or had so much muck removed by one (she has two dogs and a cat, my son goes around every day, and my dads a landscaper so the ca...more

Vax VS 18: Vax Big Bubble (395 words)

I have a six year old son, who loves to make a mess. I am constantly running around after him but I hate housework, and hoovering even less. So when I do hoover, I tend to be a bit naughty, and confess to being too lazy to pick up small bits of paper first. My mum warned me that if I did this, I was liable to break the hoover (my dad is exactly the same as me, and he has broken hundreds). But this has never happened in the two years Ive had my bubble. I did, recently experience a loss in suction, and thought maybe I had killed it, so bought at morphy richards. I had this two weeks, before it died-and I only asked it to hoover dust not paper! Known as the vax bubble , i purchased mine from the littlewoods catalogue as it was on special offer that for £200 you recieved the vax bubble, vax hand held hoomer and the vax upright carpet washer found this fairly simple to assemble, as it comes in about 3 parts if i remember rightly -1: the main body 2: the handle section and the dust cylinder and about 3or4 screws. It took my husband about 5 minutes to put together This hoover is lovely to manoeuver but at time it can feel slightly heavy, the best feature has to be that it is bagless and has a high dust capacity which is great, it is a nice purpel colour which is not to bright but not to dark ...  Read the complete review

Now i MUST! be a vacuum manufacturer's dream consumer.I don't know what it is about myself and vacuums, but they always breakdown or blow up on me! is it my electric personality? or am i just nor careful enough with them? I had my mother-in-law over to stay with us for a week, last week or so ago,and on producing my new purchase she said "Not another one?" I had to reply"Yep! surprise!".We then went on to having a coversation to try and count how many vacuums iv'e had in the past 15yrs,and gave up at number fifteen,(blimey! that means nearly one every year! ek!).Iv'e had them all,Electrolux,Hoover,Bosh! you name one iv'e probably had it. Our ageing Panasonic cleaner was gradually giving up the ghost after many years of reliable service and we were on the verge of playing safe and getting another one when my wife suggested ‘going bagless’. Sounded a bit risky to me but I’m all for new experiences so we started looking around. In the event the decision was quite easy - a Dyson was out of the running straight away; they are (in my humble opinion) overpriced, over-hyped, huge, ugly, heavy, noisy, unreliable and cumbersome. All the others makes we looked at shared the same two problems - they were too big to fit into our narrow (270mm) storage cupboard and were a lot heavier than ...  Read the complete review
