Vax V-135 ... the 1st time we used it. Less and less impressed each time forward. Why didn t I throw it before a year? Good question - I was just lazy! It stopped sucking dirty water after just a few months. Even when it did suck in the dirt, it never was great. The problem was obviously compounded because we have cream coloured carpets. We just kept going back and forth with the washer, it made a great noise, but that was it. Ultimately, it stopped working altogether. I felt bad about being ecstatic, but I thought at least I can convince my husband to buy a better one finally. We now hire the Rug Doctor out of Morrisons and it works so brilliantly that I wont touch Vax ever again.... Read the full review: Don't even think about it. by Nehal123 |

VAX Appliances VS-190 Swift ... have this particular vacuum and it was fantastic to use before I become ill. I have recently been diagnosed with arthritis and find the vacuum really hard to use I have found that the peddle you press with your foot to make it not upright and I have found that its impossible for me to now press it down. It is too heavy and so I can no longer use this vacuum which is not very good at all. They need to be more practical for people with arthritis. Although I have to say that the product before it was excellent for my pet hair it seemed to completely pick things up. VAX Appliances VS-190 Swift ... vacuum is absolutely brilliant, it is the best vacuum I have had out of other branded ones. It is the first one that I have purchased that has cleared all hairs up from my three dogs, this is an absolute first. I have three dogs and not one hair on my carpets thanks to my swift. The filter is very easy to keep clean and the cylinder is easy to empty. It has a very easy way to release the cylinder so that I can empty it with ease. This product is priced really well as I would pay more as I am that pleased with the product.
