 ... get into this movie at all. I even have to confess that Ive not yet managed to sit all the way through it in one sitting without wanting to either get up and do something else or without, at some point, falling asleep. I dont understand why these movie franchises insist on milking their movies dry - the 1st one was good, the 2nd was marginally acceptable, but this? No... I've seen tv movies better than this! One to watch if there is nothing on tv and you HAVE to watch something!!!!...more

Im sure that when they decided to make this film, everyone was convinved that "3D" was THE next big thing.... It SO isnt. I have to confess, despite my love of horror movies, and the original Amityville Horror movie, I really cannot get into this movie at all. I even have to confess that Ive not yet managed to sit all the way through it in one sitting without wanting to either get up and do something else or without, at some point, falling asleep. The director of ashanti and the jazz singer really strugles here to squeeze a decent movie out of the haunted house gimmick. The third in the never ending and nearly always unrelated series. This time centering on a sceptical journalist who movies in to the spooky suburb.once in the estate agents nightmare he starts experiencing supernatural goings on and some pretty unimpressive deaths follow from such cliched fare as,deadly insects,runnaway lifts and specteral decoys . even the 3d gimmck used the same year in jaws 3d and friday 13th a little later cant rescue this tired flick starring tony roberts tess harper and candy(american graffiti) clark ...
