You know I love horror movies well here is one of the ones I have bought quite recently. After seeing and being scared by the original years ago I decided that I would give the 2005 remake a go. If you actually don't know the story behind this movie, here is how it goes. The house is possessed! This movie is actually suppose to be part two of the events that occured. The first event is told in the follow up Part Two. The family that first lived there had an older son who went crazy from the voices in his head. Eventually he becomes fully possessed and kills his entire family. But again, that is actually in the second movie. You only see short clips portraying that part of the story and general references made to the killings in this movie. So now we get to next events which are portrayed in this movie. In a small town named Amityville, at 3:15am on the 13th of November 1974, a son claims he is possessed by demons and shoots his entire family with a rifle, we join Amityville a year after these murders and the house they occurred in is still empty and still for sale because nobody dares to move in.
