$42 million in gold bullion is stolen from the Federal Reserve and two federal guards are brutally killed. Clenteen played by David Morse is a dedicated G-man who believes he knows who it was, Bristol (played by Doug Hutchinson) a ruthless and evil genius. The problem is no one knows where the money is hidden not even Bristol himself as his partner in crime died before giving up the location. The last person to have contact with Bristol was his cell mate and street criminal Alvin Sanders (played by Jamie Foxx) and Clenteen uses him as Bait to lure the killer out if hiding.
