Hurrah! At last a DVD that I can recommend, this one has extras and everything folks, so prepare yourself for a few hours serious viewing. Now, this film is quite difficult to have an opinion on. On the one hand it’s a good thriller with a good twisting plot, but on the other hand, it’s a rubbish, sleazy porn film. The story follows Michael Douglas as your usual cop who’s got loads of problems, investigating a murder. The prime suspect is Sharon Stone, who generally plays with his head a lot. What follows is Douglas falling for Stone and their affair. With many twists and turns this film could’ve been an excellent thriller. Unfortunately they’ve gone for the titillation side and turned this film into pure sleaze. Fine some people might pant for that kind of thing ...
