Bedazzled is a very funny, colourful and well made production. Liz Hurley is hilarious as the Devil who offers Elliot Richards (Brendan Fraser) 7 wishes in exchange for his mortal soul. There's more than a touch of Faust here. He has to sign a contract to get his wishes. Elliot is not much of a success with the ladies and tends to be the butt of jokes from his colleagues, so when Liz comes on to him, he can't believe his luck. He has had a secret crush on co-worker Alison Gardner for ages and he has tried all ways to make her notice him. Brendan Fraser and Liz Hurley star in this comedy which does have its funny moments ad is not as bad as it sounded when I saw the reviews. Fraser makes a deal with Hurley who is the devil, in exchange for his soul she grants him wishes in his desire to make the love of his life actually love him in return. Naturally the twist is that even though Hurley complies with his wishes she manages to twist things so that it does not work out for him. For example when h wishes for massive riches she turns him into a Colombian drugs dealer and soon he is in fear for his life as his enemies try to bump him off. Liz Hurley is actually pretty good in this film, ...

You know, the movie about a female Devil who gives a lonely geek seven wishes in exchange for his soul? Let's just say I wanted it to be much naughtier than it was! After digging Elizabeth Hurley in The Spy Who Shagged Me, I knew she would look great in the leather cat suit, but she isn't really convincing as Satan. The ...
