fast talking street wise jamat walker has big time plans but, for now he is stuck in a dead end job at a medieval theme park. after an accident at work jamalis suddenly transported back in time and finds himself in 14th centuray england a world of knights in shining armour a wicked king and damsels in distress. the middle ages will never be the same after jamal uses his 21st centuary wise cracks and attitude to help a down and out knight and a beautiful women defeat an evil king. My Opinion. I love this film. I watched it by accident on the telly and I simply had to buy it. if you don't laugh at this then, quite frankly, you are already dead! Buy it ...

You'll often hear Martin Lawrence referred to as the poor mans Eddie Murphy, I honestly can't recall a single film where he's done things that are incredibly funny. Sure Big Momma's House has a few smiles but compare to that to Murphy's Nutty Professer and you have no comparison. Black Knight is one of those films which is so mind numbingly obvious and easy that you wouldn't be money on the script being written by a piece of screenwriting software which takes a scenes from other movies and then makes them it's own. The problem with Martin Lawrence is that his choice of movies sucks. On stage he s funny, often hilarious, but on screen I?ve yet to see him do anything which remains consistently funny throughout. Big Momma?s House offered up two laughs throughout its running length, Blue Streak reminded me of the very worst of Eddie Murphy?s movies and Whats The Worst Thing That Could Happen? proved that the very worst thing that could happen would be a sequel! Lawrence needs to be a little more discerning in his choices because right about now the name ?Martin Lawrence? slapped on a movie poster is becoming synonymous with ?This is crap!? slapped on a movie poster, which is a shame ...
