I love Gene Hackman, he is one of the finest actors ever. Films such as 'The French Connection' & Missisipi Burning' made him mega bucks and that is no surprise as the man gave outstanding performances in both. In Crimson Tide, Hackman plays Captain Ramsey, a die hard war freak sent to the deep waters in his US Nuclear Submarine caught in a terrible crisis.
