Real boy's own stuff from the same World War Two stable that John Sturges had already plundered for his late sixties hit 'Where Eagles Dare'. This is from a Jack Higgins novel rather than Alistair Maclean, but the recipe is exactly the same - undercover heroics, decent action, and Nazis.
