I find it quite hard to express how bad this film is. I can't believe this, this thing was created by the man who gave us 'Last house on the left', 'A nightmare on elm street' and 'Scream'. I know that Wes Craven did kind of hit a slump in the mid-eighties, but this is really quite an unforgivable film, and an insult to the memory of the classic original. 'The hills have eyes' was a truly great film about a suburban family beset by a family of savage cannibals, deep in the desert wastelands. It was an intense, exciting experience which is rightly regarded by many as ranking amongst the greatest horror films of all time. ...
