On this premise the story of Omar Epps efforts to infiltrate the empire of God, a fearsome crack dealer and otherwise all round nice guy is based. You can't just shoot someone to prove you are a real man, but firing wildly and acting convincingly in your drive by test works just as well. I'll sum up this word in 3 words : Tense but Short. This films builds up the tension like few others, but then ends before it should..why, i don't know? The premise is simple, a rookie cop goes DEEP undercover into a drug ring and gets a bit carried away. The question all throughout the film is whether he'll turn criminal, or stay a good guy and sell out his new friends. Unfortunatley when it comes to what should be the answer to this question and a turning point in most other films it ends. No showing the after effects of his choice, it just ends. Most films would have carried this on to a big ending, but ending it at this point makes this ...
