Jeeves and Wooster (DVD)

This is the television programme which we were all watching ten years ago. Based on the P.G.Woodhouse novels about the rich young Bertie Wooster (Hugh Laurie) and his smart clever buttler named Jeeves (Stephan Fry). This is British comedy at its best. The double video sets of each series (six eppisodes) are all now available, and I think that it's a perfect christmas present. There is a part- continuous storyline, so it is worth seeing the series' in order. The show really has it all: the good, Jeeves the bad, Woosters terrifying aunt Agatha the quite stupid, Wooster as well as all of Wooster's very funny ...

This is a good comedy which I watched On Granada Plus staring Stephen Fry as the Butler Jeeves and playing Wooster is the Prince Regent from Black Adder Hugh Laurie. Good solid performances by these actors made it hysterical in my opinion especially Stephen Fry. There were only a couple of series ever made, which was a great shame, and I have only ever seen the videos on sale at Woolworth’s. If you get the chance buy the videos or watch it a again if it is ever repeated. ...
