Not nearly as good as Vertical Limit or Clifhanger. But not a bad film either. The acting is good, the plot is obvious (you'd have to be a numpty not to know what's going to happen next) but respectable. And it has it's moments of good drama and tension. What I actually like most about it is the great sense of realism in terms of character. None of the characters are glamourised in any way. There is no heroic type or 'cool' guy. Not to say that's a bad thing, I love Hollywood! But it is nice to see very 'real' acting once in a while. It almost feels like a documentary at times, the characters are very believable and natural. But at the end of the day, the film is nothing ...

This is a film I bought about four years ago, it was released in 1991 and was directed by the not very famous Franc Roddam and its age classification is 15. The Plot: Two men called Taylor and Harold (played by Michael Biehn & Matt Craven) are good friends and both have a passion for climbing(one of them is a family/career man, the other a brash lawyer who lives for the mountains and lets nothing get in his way. While climbing one day, they meet a man who it seems might be attempting to climb K2 - the world's second-highest peak.
