shroud Nintendo Wii: ... am going to come out right and say it. We are die hard PC gamers. With each member of the family having their own desk top PC and /or laptop (yes, really), and Family Game Night happily chugging along with us playing either a PC game together or a good old fashioned board game, we did not see the need to plonk out for an expensive gaming platform unit that took games that cost a mint. Then the Wii came along. At fi...

toptangerine Sony Playstation 3 80 GB
... become a tough time for Sony to shift these off the shelves as they have strong competition from microsoft and the Xbox 360 but for me PS3 is so much greater. Xbox does seem like the wise choice due to the price but the PS3 is so worth the money Free Online Play This means you can go online and play multiplayer against people around the world and even join your own friends over a simple internet connection and its 100% free. This is the Playstations main selling point over the Xbox as they charge a monthly or annual fee for the only play. Having online play means that your games are not limited. On PS1/PS2 you would complete a game and that would be it but with the ...

georgesvinsky Nintendo Wii
... remember when this first came out. It was heralded as a revolutionary in gaming technology, the future of gaming. Reviewers, critiques and Nintendo spokespeople all blew trumpets of jubilation as they proudly announced the wii s arival. Several years later, the buzz has definately died down. Nintendo, once king of the gaming world, have resorted to making cheesy, nursing home adverts. Making the Wii was definately a gamble for Nintendo. The ps2 slim is basically a playstation 2 that boasts being smaller and quieter. What always knocked me for six was just how much smaller this console was - at least half the size of a normal one. This was a clever design because it instantly made the old ones look big, bulky and old fashioned. However, the noise thing never really bothered me, as I can t say I was ever disturbed by the noise of a PS2 anyway - surely you re playing a game when it s on, so the little humming and stuff it makes isn t ev...
