Xbox does seem like the wise choice due to the price but the PS3 is so worth the money Free Online Play This means you can go online and play multiplayer against people around the world and even join your own friends over a simple internet connection and its 100% free. This is the Playstations main selling point over the Xbox as they charge a monthly or annual fee for the only play. Having online play means that your games are not limited. Nintendo Wii ... remember when this first came out. It was heralded as a revolutionary in gaming technology, the future of gaming. Reviewers, critiques and Nintendo spokespeople all blew trumpets of jubilation as they proudly announced the wii s arival. Several years later, the buzz has definately died down. Nintendo, once king of the gaming world, have resorted to making cheesy, nursing home adverts. Making the Wii was definately a gamble for Nintendo. It could have gone either way, by being different they could have proppelled their lead (which was steadily shrinking with the Xbox and PS2 matching the Game Cube at the time) over other Microsoft and Sony, or just hastened their down... Sony Playstation 2 Slim ... bought a PS2 slim, not because I wanted the slmi one but just because I wanted a new one and this happened to be the latest model. I still remember buying it to this day. The ps2 slim is basically a playstation 2 that boasts being smaller and quieter. What always knocked me for six was just how much smaller this console was - at least half the size of a normal one. This was a clever design because it instantly made the old ones look big, bulky and old fashioned. However, the noise thing never really bothered me, as I can t say I was ever disturbed by the noise of a PS2 anyway - surely you re playing a game when it s on, so the little humming and stuff it makes isn t ev...
