The Xbox strikes back with is own personal 'Wii' To cash in on the ever increasing 'you are the controller' games market.

The Kinect itself is quite a good piece of equipment and it seems to notice me quickly and it follows my movements almost perfectly, The voice recognition is good and it didnt let me down when I recently played through Mass Effect 3, it also regularly picks me up in Fifa 13 for swearing and as a result I get carded. It is easy to place in your living room or bedroom although you will need quite a bit of space to use it.

The Xbox itself comes with 250gb of internal hard drive space which is very useful for installing games on, (Installing games makes them load faster, run smoother) And it also means you can take your game and trade it in for cash the day after it is released so you get a 'cheaper' copy of the game whilst still being able to play it although I didnt tell you that. Its also very useful if you use something like lovefilm instant which allows you to download and stream movies directly to your Xbox.

This new model of Xbox irons out the previous Red ring of Death problems, Its also lighter and less noisier and the buttons respond to a touch with a little ping when you touch them as opposed to having to press them like the older consoles.
