Advantages: Marketplace, particluarly the free demos to try before you buy

Disadvantages: A littel noisy sometimes

I received one of these as a Christmas gift and have to say it is far far superior to any other console I have used. It's multimedia features are spectacular - since getting it, I no longer need my DVD player, my CD player, and I rarely use my desktop PC now either - except for sharing media with the 360, a task made much easier with the easy setup routines provided. Xbox Live adds a great deal to the experience too, in particular the Marketplace feature where you can buy and download add-ons for games, complete full games and trials and demos for games you can buy in stores - a great way to try before you buy. Playing online with your friends is also made extremely simple - although I'd never done it before, I was up and running in just a few minutes. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend an Xbox 360 to anyone.
