The Xbox 360 was released in the USA, Canada and Mexico on the 22nd of November 2005, it was released on Europe on the 10th of December 2005.

There are 3 types of this console the arcade which has 5 arcade games on it with no hard drive and is coloured white, the premium which has 1 arcade game on it with a 20gb or a 60gb hard drive which is coloured white and the elite which has a massive 120gb hard drive and is coloured black. They all include a wireless controller in the bundle with a wired headset except in Mexico instead of a wired headset you get a remote control, you need a hard drive to get Xbox live

When I first got my Xbox 360 I got bored playing the same game over and over again so I had to go out and buy more which I did know I absolutely love my Xbox 360 it is the games console out at the moment in my mind, the Xbox has amazing online game play with different types of online play for each game. There are so many good games out at the moment for the Xbox. The price of Xbox live is dear I think at £40 for a year and £3.99 a month. You can buy 2100 Microsoft points for £17.50 which you could get arcade games, gamer pictures, themes and game add ons

The ps3 is nowhere near as good as the Xbox because the price is extortionate, the ps3 has only a small amount of games but the Xbox has loads of games.

The main thing that held back Xbox's release sales were not enough consoles made. I have heard that Microsoft might be releasing a new console in 2012 but that's 2 years away.

I rate this 5 stars out of 5 because it is a truly amazing console!
