The Xbox. A futuristic gaming console bringing eye watering graphics and brilliant sound quality to the average person for just over £100.

It has all ways been closely compared with its much more expensive rival the Play Station 3. In my eyes the Xbox is much better, especially when it comes to on line play. Even though you have to pay (£5 a month) for Xbox Live, it still outranks the PS3's version by miles. With millions of gamers around the world playing on line, you are sure to have a brilliant gaming experience.

Even if you are not intending to play on line, the Xbox 360's capabilities as not only a games console but as a multimedia device soon become clear. Whether its listening to your favourite music, downloading the latest releases, or playing a demo of a game you are thinking of purchasing, it is sure to keep you entertained.

As for its rivals, it leaves them trailing in its dust.
