I originally got my xbox at Christmas 2007 and have loved every minute of it.

The graphics are so much better than previous games consoles, especially the shading and the lighting, in fact this presents a problem, when you first play on it you spend a lot of your time going oh and ah at all the gorgeous shading.

The console itself can be linked to a home computer or to the net to be able to play multiplayer games online, which give a whole new depth to the games. There are also some other nice features, such as being able to plug your ipod into it and listen to your music whilst playing a game.

The xbox 360 now also has a huge range of games at many prices. The one drawback is the constant fear of receiving the three red rings of death - although, this did happen to me and it was fixed and back in my loving arms in 3 weeks. However, having said that it is incredibly frustrating when the rings do appear as, being an avid gamer for many years and owning most consoles, it's very frustrating that the most advanced of them all is the only one I've ever had break! Also, you have to get the console linked to Xbox live as some games, on occassion, have glitches and require you to download a patch from Xbox Live to fix it - a real problem if you're not connected!

All in all this is a great console and has stolen many hours away from me.
