Advantages: great gameplay

Disadvantages: accessory costs

the xbox 360...a great console, graphics are extremely satisfying and the controller pad is very easy to use.
the console can be purchased with many different sizes of memory capacity from the 256mb arcade model to the elite version which boasts a huge 120gb hard drive for game progress and games themself to be saved to and played via your hard drive depending on your price range.
the premium and elite packages come with a headset for xbox live gaming but unfortunately if you buy the arcade version this will have to be purchased seperately, whilst on the subject of xbox live you can either purchase a card from any local gaming shop or pay for it online using your credit card details as which you have the choice of paying £5 a month or a yearly subsciption in full for £40.
there are many accessories to be bought for the xbox but some of these can be more expensive than others depending on what you are looking for.
