Very good consol (Microsoft Xbox 360)

Advantages: price, game choice, xbox live

Disadvantages: Not as good as ps3

The xbox 360 is a good all round consol. You can pick one up now for a relativly decent price, if you do your research.
The primary purpose of the consol is gaming (unlike the ps3 whihc is more an entertainment system). There is a huge selection of games available for it, games for every taste. The consol also has a built in DVD player (standard dvd not blue ray).
The consol has a removable hard drive (size differs), if you buy the basic consol ti will not come with a HDD but you can buy them seperatly or buy a cheaper memory card.
The graphics on the majority of games are decent, some stand out such as gears of war 2. However if you want the very best graphics go for the ps3.
The main advantage the 360 has over the ps3 is xbox live. This is the way of playing games online with friends and toehr people from all around the world. It is very efficient and allows you to get the best out of your games. The ps3 has an equivilant (which is free, xbox charge £35 per year) but it is not as effecient.
