Advantages: Great controls, Great games

Disadvantages: Not very ergernomic for big hands

Every few years the next generation f consoles come out. These are often accompanied with a handheld close in tow. For years nintendo has held the market with the Gameboy, with such rivals as the Neo Poket and Wonderswan. None of them were successful. Then Sony, who was triaphant in the Playstation/N64 era, brought the PSP along. However it looks like Nintendo was successful again.

Nintendo have been clever with this generation, and have opted for inovative ideas with their consoles. The DS has the touch screen which was a clever idea, and in my opinion it has paid off.

The controls are simply, and have a nice lay out. The only problem with the shape and control lay out, is that its not the most ergonomic design. I find that after an hour or so my hands can feel very cramped. However this is not usually a problem as the games are enjoyable enough to ignore this.

The games that are available offer a number of different controls using both the buttons and the touch screen. These can make for different experiences depending on the game.

Summary: Well worth the money
