Advantages: It's the best hand held console

Nintendo have done it again, they have made another computer that is addictive and complete fun. Ok so there was the gamboy which was fun but now with this you'll never look at the gameboy or any other hand held computer again after you've got your hands on this.

This is the slim, light design that comes in various colours. The original colours were black, silver and white but now they have several including pink, turquoise, lime green and red. So there is definately one for everyone.

So the product itself: Very simple to use, it has a touch screen and can hear and has voice recognition. On the side of the DS there is a slot where you will find the stylus for the touch screen, so there's not as much chance of losing the stylus, but if you do you are still able to use your finger on the touch screen. You can have your DS on wireless, which gives you the option to challenge other people in the house to a game if they also have a DS.

There is a wide variety of games available for the DS. With the 2 screens on the DS this is mainly used for games where you use the stylus on the one screen and the game on the other screen. If only one screen is required then the other screen is switched off automatically which saves battery. The battery on these are very good I'm not sure exactly how long but I managed to keep mine playing for a couple of days for several hours each day.

To buy one of these costs about £99.99 but you can also get great deals on these with the console and games starting at about £109.99.
