Advantages: Fits into pockets and bags easy

Disadvantages: games can be expensive

The DS is very lightweight and measures about 10cm by about 5cm and is about 2cm in depth. The DS has two screens the one of the top is a normal screen as you would get on a TV. The bottom screen is interactive and you operate it with a small stick called a stylus. I find the stylus comfortable to use although not as easy to use as a pen would be.


The console also has the ability to link wirelessly to other DS users which is great for anyone wanting to play against another DS user. I travel a lot and have found that my little back DS is a great travel companion. The DS was very easy to set up, it's a case of plug in to charge and away you go. The console is easy to hold and it has a slot for headphones so you don't annoy everyone around you whilst engrossed in the game!


The games are easy to insert and the controls are easy to get used to. The DS seems to last a while after charging and I have found it will last up to 8 hours on a long journey. There are many games for the DS. I have a lot of war games and football games but you can also get cute games such as the Dogz one and Catz. The games vary in price but tend to be about £19.99 - £29.99 - I have manage4d to pick up a few games for £5.99 and 9.99 offline, although they were rubbish!


I use my DS a lot and the fact it has a diary helps me double up so I can travel light to work. It certainly beats lunchtime boredom and boredom whilst waiting for a bus/train etc. I have dropped mine a few times and it still workd fine, a very good little console.
