Advantages: Looks better and is stonger, with a better design

Disadvantages: The GBA slot is smaller

If you have seen the 1st DS you may have noticed its a bit of a brick and has a complex join between the touch screen to the top screen, of which I broke as on the joins broke open, so my scren now opens up and can pull the side aswel.

The DS lite doesn't have this problem as it is one complete bar so you can not see the joint, and seam a lot tougher and stronger.

The DS lite is also better in size and design, as its alot thiner and has things in diffent places and different sizes.
Mic: instead of being in the bottom left it's right in the centre.
Power Button: Instead of being on the top right, it's on the side and is a push button which slides up and flicks back for the power.
Stylus: is a lot bigger and easier to handle, with it being in the side rather than the top.
GBA slot, is a lot smaller and games stick out of it when put into it, unless you buy the newer ones like the DS browser, which you can buy with a pack to fit the Lite nicely.

The colour of the screens is also a lot brighter and has a lot more colour in it and looks loads better.

I think the DS Lite is worth buying or upgrading from a normal DS.

In the shops it cost around £100 only around £10 more then the DS, but most of them have knocked the price down a bit now as they have been out for a while.

Summary: Great updrade from the DS
