Advantages: Design perfection, light, good graphics and screen light

Disadvantages: limited game choice

Having never owned a handheld games console in my life before, the DS was the only one to tempt me into it. I have used many normal games consoles throughout my life and i really enjoy using them. A growing number of friends, family, and their children have recently bought a nintendo DS and now i myself have been taken in!
I opted for the sophisticated black colour, and a few games to get me started. The look of the console is very neat, modern and stylish. It is light and easy to hold as you use it.
I like the personal touches it offers when you first turn it on giving it your name and personalising colours etc. Maybe my hopes were high as everyone i know have said only good things. But i have been slightly disappointed. Yes, the graphics are good, the screen bright and clear, but the games i have tried out on it are nowhere near the standard i expected. Am i expecting too much maybe? Or is it not a DS fault but a game fault? I don't know.
Had i my time again i wouldn't have bought the DS, simply because i considered it a luxury buy which i expected to have many long addictive hours away from reality. This expectation was not achieved unfortunately for me :(

Summary: Wonderful design, but not addictive enough!
