A handheld game console made by Nintendo, the DS Lite was released in 2006 and is a redesign of the original Nintendo DS. It is slimmer, smaller and weights less than the original. The battery life is longer and the screen is lighter. It also has two screens which are both touch screen like the original console. The console also has the option to connect wirelessly to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and play games online. There is a large selection of games to buy, not all of them are aimed at serious gamers a lot of them are games like Cooking mama and Brain age and it has a lot of games aimed at young children.. A good little hand held console that is easy to use and has some fun games to play, the console is portable and the has some good functions, worth buying if you want to play games or the move or you have young children that you want to keep entertained.
