Great fun compact console (Nintendo DS Lite)
Member Name: ktbainbridge
Advantages: Easy to use, compact Disadvantages: None I purchased a DS lite at the beginning of the year, purely by chance. I had never really been interested in one, but somehow I came across some vouchers left over from Christmas and there was nothing else in the store that took my fancy. Id never been too interested as the games always seemed to childish or too educational! I was lucky that the colour I preferred was in stock and by chance picked up a few games. I havent had a hand held console for years, but technology has really come on with this one. The console itself is nice and compact and therefore easy to carry around without being a hinderance. Its small cute and nicely finished texture wise. It is very hard to scratch or damage physically on its exterior. Once opened up your are present ed with two screens. Both are of a very good size. One is touch sensitive and enables you to take control of the functions using the stylus (the DS comes with two incase you lose one) and the stylus tucks away happily and safely into the console. Having two screens brings an amazing variety of extra function to a hand held console as you can view two different things at once, for example maps when you are walking around. The nintedno DS lite can also be used with wifi, howvere I have not tested out this functionality. Summary: Fun and not just for kids! |
