I got my DS lite for christmas a few years ago and have never looked back; this console is revolutionary, and is, in my opinion, the best hand held console on the market today.

Slightly slimmer than it's original counterpart, the DS Lite fits easily into your bag, pocket, or indeed anywhere else you might want to store it. It's really lightweight and portable so is great for gaming on the go. The wide variety of games available for it also means that you're never going to get bored with this one.

With most games, you can play in two different ways; by using the D-Pad and the buttons to the right hand side of the console, or by using the stylus on the screen. This is the really original aspect that makes the DS. You can also play games by blowing or speaking into the microphone, which is really original and interesting.

The split screen also adds variety and longevity to your gameplay; and it's easier to be able to have aids to the game open at the same time as your actual game; ie maps for exploring in RPGS, menus for stats in Fighters, etc.

I love my DS Lite, I'd really reccommend that everyone buys one, it's great for all ages and you won't be dissapointed!
