Advantages: Great Game, keeps my brain ticking, like touch screen and small game to carry.

Disadvantages: Spoken and written answers have been misinterpreted and is very frustrating

Nintendo DS Lite Black.

Was given this gift from work colleagues after a hit and run accident where I was off sick of a long period. So I was very glad to receive it and kept me occupied while in bed for long periods of recovery from accident.

In the pack, Nintendo DS Lite, 2 x stylus, Brain Trainer and carry case.

It was quite easy to use from the start and managed to get around the navigation systems quite quickly. I like the touch screen.

When I first started, my brain age was 82, quite shocking really. Some of my friends inc. my boyfriend, do not want to play my Nintendo DS because they don't want to show their intellectual age..lol, because they think they will be rubbish at the games. I am glad to report that my DS age has come down to 56 which is closer to my real age and hopefully going down. My real age is 40. I have had the Nintendo DS lite for 2 months.

The sudoku was difficult for me to solve in the beginning, and it nearly made me give up the game altogether. However, my sister managed it but refused to tell me how to she found it so easy. A few weeks later I managed to grasp how to solve the puzzle and the sudoku games got easier for me which gave me feeling of achievement when I finished the puzzle. You can have up to 5 mistakes in the easier sudoku games.

In some of the numbers games, where you write the answers using the stylus, sometimes the DS lite reads/interprets my writing wrong, very frustrating when you know you are right but the machine got your answer wrong and it affected your score.

Also frustrating when some of the games you have to speak the answers and the machine interprets your answer wrong but you know your answer was right and it affected your score.

Summary: Fun toy, like the touch screen and write/speak responses and use other games on console.
