Advantages: Light, portable, durable, fun.

Disadvantages: Technology is always updating, such as the new DSI.

My brother bought me a DS Lite for christmas last year, and promptly regretted it as I then proceeded to hijack his games to use in it. I got mine in bright green, though you can choose from many brilliant colours for your DS. It's incredibly portable and durable, especially if you get a case to put it in, which are very cheap, mine was 5 pounds and there isnt so much as a scratch on my DS. It loads everything very quickly and has a wide variety of games for every type of player from casual to story gamers. This is one of the most long-term, high-selling consoles avaliable which speaks for itself and its appeal to both young and old. For casual games you can link wirelessly with friends to compete or play together, something that causes alot of competition between me and my brother. And it has a long lasting battery. I absolutely highly recommend this, especially for long journeys.

Summary: Appeal for all.
