Advantages: Funky looks, Fun games, Everyone can play it

Disadvantages: Could have done with bigger screens and more power

Where to start with the DS.The problems or the Great things.I will start with the problems because there isnt many.Just a couple of niggles like the touch screen gets used alot and gets scratched quite easy so not good really but not really to much bother. The other is the lack of good games that use the touch screen. There is a few like Under the knife and Pacpix where you use the touch quite alot for the gameplay but there isnt enough.
Thats enough moaning now on with the good things about this fine machine.Firstly the touch screen is a great idea and is fun to use and a good way of chatting to people with drawings and so on.Some of the games use it to the full and its great to use it and makes games so much more interesting. The screens are good and quite bright(could be brighter)and dont suffer from as many dead pixel problems as the PSP.
While the DS isnt as powerful as the PSP it makes up for it in new and fresh gaming and fun for all the family with endless ideas for using the touch and mic there will be some fantastic games soon i think.
The DS wont break the bank and neither will buying games for it and with so many people owning one then it is easy to get people to race you on mario kart over wifi and even in the street over adhoc.
Some of the games a fun and get you totally involved in the game while others a just a quick fix of gaming for the addicted.Games like new mario bring fast and fun gaming for all the family with Under the knife draws you into the game to perform operations and save lives.
The DS is well put together with few faults or problems. It open with ease and is not clunky and doesnt feel cheap. The built in speakers could have been better as they do tend to go a bit fuzzy when turned right up.
Battery life is very good with it lasting over 8 hours non stop off a full charge.I think the whole world should own a DS,it will bring you so much joy and pleasure you wont believe it.

Summary: FANTASTIC PLASTIC

More helpfull info here compared to your console review, but i did find it a bit diffacut to read, as it was sqasked up and needs spacing out. More info on how the 2 screens work in games would be nice. Eddie (New PC/Video Games Guide)
