Advantages: Great gaming on two screens

Disadvantages: Getting overtaken now

I can remember buying the DS quite a while ago now for £100.
The DS was all great and was amazing, but later on there was a DS Lite on the market, putting the DS back a bit.

The DS consists on two screen, one being touch screen; two speakers; headphone jack; DS game slot; GBA game slot; stylus and mic.

The pen seams a bit thin and is fiddly to write with. The volume button is also very fiddly to set to an exact volume as it either goes to far or not enough. The join to the top screen and speaker is quite week and mine broke after dropping it.

The DS is easy to hold and write with using the stylus. It also nicely folds in half and switches off both screen to save power and has a slot in the back to hold the pen when not in use.

Extras can be bought for the DS, such as wrist straps, more pens, cases and screen protectors.

I think the DS was a great idea but now with the DS Lite and DSi it seams pretty worthless now, but I still have mine and get the odd game for it now and again.

Summary: Gaming has new limits with the ds
