The nintendo Dsi was improved from the original Nintendo DS. It is extremely small for what it does. Infact it's, length = 7.25 cm, width = 13.5 cm (to get an idea of how small).
You can still play the same nintendo games but some of new games have special functions for nintendo dsi.
The nintendo Dsi has two screens, the bottom one is a touch screen. You can surf the internet and even reply to emails.
Also you can record songs, edit them and play around, making them sound like a trumpet or a bird!
Even better, there's a small built in camera which you can switch from facing towards you or facing outwards.
In the pack which you get when you buy the games console, you get a booklet helping you along your nintendo Dsi journey and a number which you can sign up to a nintendo club on the internet.

At the moment the colours are limited to blue, brown, red, pink and black but more colours are coming soon, I expect.

On the side of this device there is a slot which you may insert SD cards in and fiddle around with the songs or pictures. You can buy applications for your nintendo on the internet. I recently downloaded 'Bomberman' and it was so good! I don't even need to buy the game because I can even connect on wifi.
There is a few applications that come free which are flipnote (my personal favourite). Flipnote allows you to create animations and share them with people across the world. You can record songs or take sounds from your SD card and add them to your animation.

As I said at first ' It's extremely small for what it does', well now you know why.
