ok its not the most graphically advanced machine and with the next gen nearly out its easy to over look the gamecube but you really shoudnt with classic nintendo game's like zelda, mario, warioware, metroid and many many more. its easy to pic a gamecube console up for around 30 pounds at the moment , that would be 30 pound of anyones money well spent. if you get a game cube then one game that really should be missed out is tales of symphonia as in my opining it is one of the best games ever and is only available on gamecube.
