Advantages: Great Games, Cool + Cute Design, Easy To Play, For All Ages, Cheap
Disadvantages: Old
The Nintendo Gamecube has to be one of the best consoles of all time in my opinion. It's got a cool design and a huge variety of different games - most of which were really fun and there were some great ones especially.
You can get one nowadays for around £15.00 second hand as they aren't produced anymore. You can get either a purple or black one. You may think that they are consoles for children, but they appeal to adults too as they have plenty of games such as Metroid and Resident Evil 4 especially, which is ideal for adults - some adults would even be too scared to play Resident Evil 4!
The gamecube is shaped as a cube, hence its name. There is a handle at the back so you can easily carry it around if you're going to a friends house for example. An eject button on top quickly lifts up the disc tray, where you place in the games to play them. The game discs are really small - it's quite cute really. The console can have up to 4 players as well, and it has a lot of multiplayer games on offer.
The graphics are generally good although some games are better than others. The Zelda games tend to have good graphics and Animal Crossing too. Other good games include Super Smash Brothers: Melee, Mario Kart: Double Dash and Luigi's Mansion. There are loads of fun games too including Time Splitters 2 but the best game overall has to be Zelda: The Wind Waker.
The console is really cheap now and you can still take advantage of it's many great games. It has good graphics and it's a tiny little console that can easily be set up. Another great game is Super Mario Sunshine, which is a platform game. If you are looking for some cheap entertainment, I would really recommend a Gamecube as it's an excellent console.
Thanks for reading,
