Advantages: Best console ever made

I got my N64 very soon after they first came out, so I was one of those people who paid a lot of money for it. Even so I was very happy with my purchase then, and still am happy with it now.

The entire setup is just brilliant. The controlers are the best I have seen for any console or computer. You`ve got the analogue stick, the D-pad and as many buttons as you cuold ever possibly use, and it all fits into your hand just right and works like a dream. You can spend hours playing and your hands won`t get tired.

As for the graphics and sound - amazing. They are far superior to what the playstation can do graphically, and match it sound-wise. OK the PSX can play music straight from the CD, but the sound on the N64 is just as good. The graphics are smoother, higher-resolution and generally just a whole lot nicer.

The only real problem with the N64 is a huge lack of games. There have never been very many games released for the platform. In that small bunch of games however have been some of the greatest games ever written. Goldeneye, Mario64, Llylat wars and most importantly of all - Zelda! These games are just incredible with amazing graphics and great gameplay.

If you don`t already have an N64 then go out and get one ASAP. They cost next to nothing now and you`ll certainly be getting your moneys worth.
