This has always been a good 64 bit machine with good graphics and decent games. The only drawback used to be the expensive cartridges, however, everyone now wants a Dreamcast or Playstation 2 so there are loads of N64's and Cartridges on the secondhand market, the games are easy to test, if they load they are going to probably be ok if the screen stays blank forget it. Cartridges can now be bought from about £5 with an average price of £10-£15, the range of games is vast from shoot em ups to sports sims there is something for everyone. If you don't need the latest graphics and just want some fun, buy a console and four controllers invite some mates round and have a laugh.
