Advantages: brilliant game play,good graphics

Disadvantages: expensive,cheaper alternatives

This console was state of the art only a few years ago! it remains a firm favourite among nintendo fans although has been surpassed by more recent consoles which have more advanced game play. I own a N64 console myself and have done so for about three years. many of their games have remained unsurpassed in terms of game play eg. goldeneye and ISS. However my main criticism would have to be the price and supply of games available. When compared to other consoles the N64 has much fewer releases- what is Nintendo doing? Prices of new games are ridiculous when compared to its main rival- the playstation. overall, if you have the money, the N64 is great, but I would recommend you wait for the playstation 2 to be released.
