1080 - Tony Hawk on Snow (Nintendo N64)
Member Name: Evemail
Advantages: Awesome Disadvantages: None
I bought 1080 as soon is it came it for the pricely sum of £40. I got home and messed about on it for while just get used to the controls and the different tricks. Once i'd built up a bit of confidence in my ability to stay upright after a jump or dodgy corner i decided it was time to try and 'unlock' the other courses, which took all of about 30 mins. After this i unlocked the hidden characters and if any ones needs info on how to do this please mail me. The first three courses which are already unlocked are relatively easy but getting harder as you go on. If you change the difficulty setting it just means that the weather changes to make it harder and you lose health easier than before. Each of these three courses has a 'cheat' route so you can clock up faster times on the time trials options. The next three courses which are unlocked are more difficult but shouldn't really pose any threat until you have to go up through the difficulty levels. Also on the game there is a practice course with both a half pipe and some normal jumps, it also has an on screen button guide to tell you how to pull of some big air. One of the best options on the game is 'Contest'. In contest you go through each of the first three courses and the half pipe and the big air ramp, the objective is to gain as many points as possible whilst manouvering round gates to collect more time so you actually finish, at one point a few years ago i held the third highest score in the country through a certain magazine. All in all this is a good game and i would advise anyone who was considering purchasing this game to do so, i have had many hours happily carving up some air on the powder. Summary: |
