Advantages: good colours, good POKEMON games

Disadvantages: bad joypad, chunky style reigns

Ok, we don't actually own a N64, but have borrowed it and 2 games from a friend for a couple of weeks, so if you disagree with me, I do apologise! :)

The N64 is compared with the Playstation (which we do own), and I can see why, the graphics and quality of the games are extremely similar, but I do not know if I would swap one for the other.

The N64 is the Apple Mac when it comes to game consoles, it may come in every colour of the rainbow, and even in a special Pikachu edition (which is EXTREMELY cute!), but do the extras make it extra good??

The N64 takes big chunky games, compared to the Playstation CDs. The chunky ones are easier to get hold of, and do not hold the possibility of scratching, which the P/S does, but the chunky games come in chunky packages, and are harder to store, unlike the Playstation CDs.

It also seems to start up quicker, probably because the CD has to get more info on it.

The joypads on the Playstation are easier to get the hang of, - perhaps this is because I am used to the P/S, but I think that the itty-bitty joystick on the joypad and the fire button on the bottom WITH the extra possibility of the rumble-pak add-on is a bit of a let down, especially when you think that you can buy a joypad with a built in 'rumble, which are a bit expensive, but good.

The one thing that the N64 has which the P/S will never have is Pokemon, which is GREAT, then again the P/S has Tekken!

But still, (unless I win a N64 or something), I think I will stick with the Playstation.
