N64 vs Playstation (Nintendo N64)
Member Name: wswd27
Advantages: playstation, nintendo Disadvantages: they're gonna be faded out soon
Ever since the N64 an playstation came out, there have been rows in pretty much every playground around between playstion and N64 owners about which is better. Well, i have both and feel that their about equal. They both have their strengths. N64 has great shoot-em-ups but maybe not so good rpgs (apart from Zelda) and playstation has great rpgs like the final fantasy series in which every one is a great game and i can't wait for final fantasy x to come out. Playstation also has some brilliant graphics which are shown to an extent on Alone in the Dark. Playstation seems to also be much better built for sports games like Tony Hawks and the Fifa games which have been on the N64 but haven't been nearly as good as on the playstation. They've both got great wrestling games with Smackdown 2 and No Mercy though No Mercy does seem a bit glitchy. Smackdown 2 has a brilliant multiplayer with loads of different types of matches and No Mercy has a great single player. I think Playstation just wins on fighting games as they have other fighting games like Streetfighter and Simpson's Wrestling which is one of the funniest games on the Playstation. The one thing that N64 wins hands down on is adventure games. Playstation has nothing to challenge Zelda, Zelda 2 and Mario 64 which are great games. N64 has brilliant shoot-em-ups which seem pretty much unchallenged apart from the excellent Metal Gear Solid. Well now the PS2 is out and the Gamecube is coming out next year, i wonder what battling ground they'll choose to fight on. Summary: |

Do I want a PS2 ?
The Playstation2 better graphics, better games, too expensive!
SUPER SONIC SEGA
Superb for a portable console
Nintendo Wii for the whole family
Nintendo DS Lite family friendly handheld console
Sony PSP Slim & Lite for people on the go
A decent gaming machine but let down by bad build quality
Sony's latest console is the best yet
