Advantages: good graphics, sound and a reliable model name

Disadvantages: games are too expensive, not enough variety to games, even now after 4 years or so, resulting in very few games that you can own

This was supposed to be the 'new' console, the best of its time. the manufacturers promised hundreds of games to rival the array of games that the playstation owners had at their disposal. It promised graphics never seen before, and best of all, it promised that the games would be cheaper than that of its rivals. so lets see..... new console? So new that it brought out a number of games that we all owned already from the nintendo and super nintendo era. huge array of games? When are these coming then? so far I have only got about 20 gamesin about 4 years. no-one is bringing out any new games it seems at the moment, and haven't been for the last 2 yerars. instead, everyone is promising that the next nintendo machine will be better and have more games. excuse me, but I think that I've heard that one before. I bought this machine over the playstation because at the time it did look like the wiser purchase. now though, it seems like you can get a playstation off the market with about 5 games for under £100 whilst the nintendo is lucky if you can find that many games to own. Really, I expected so much better! The machine itself is no different in looks to any other nintendo model but then again looks don't really matter that much. All consoles are around about the same size and weight and as long as they play games, no-one really cares about them. it does admittedly have good graphics and sound, but thats what you would expect, they are hardly going to bring out a model that is worse than its rivals. Although the games that I own are good games, to be honest, ge tthe playstation. the games are more varied and cheaper and will bring you more enjoyment, especially as the PS2 is now out, resulting in the games becoming even cheaper. this model therefore is little more than a what might have been, not what it is!
